2016 market in review.

2016 proved to be another great year in real estate, especially if you sold a home in Southern Oregon. See below for Ashland's statistics. Ashland's median price alone surged another 9% in 2016, bumping up to just under $400,000 at $394,000. East Medford had record volumes with over 877 homes sold during the year and also increased over 8% on prices. The most notable, however, is Talent. 70 homes sold in the town, with median prices exploding to $276,000, resulting in a 16% price increase. Homes in Talent stayed on the market for only an average of 26 days. Jacksonville proved in demand with just 59 homes sold (up from just 43 the year before) and an astounding 22% increase in the median home price. In conclusion, the market continues to be strong all over the Rogue Valley. And if you are at all thinking of selling, this could be a great time. We are still low on inventory which has created a tight market for buyers. If you need more information or would like a market analysis of your home, please give me a call!
